Calendar days and working days are different deadlines
Notice periods, refund windows, court timelines, delivery promises and service-level agreements are overwhelmingly quoted in working days. Calendars count calendar days. The gap over a month is around nine days, and over a quarter closer to thirty — which is the difference between meeting a deadline and missing one.
Every date-difference calculator online gives you calendar days. This one gives both, and lets you say what a working day means where you are: a five-day week, a six-day week, or a shift pattern with no weekend at all.
Holidays already falling on a weekend are not deducted twice, which sounds obvious and is a common bug in tools that do attempt holiday handling.
